Our Story
I’m Christine Staple Ebanks—author, speaker, advocate, and most importantly, Nathan’s proud mom. I’m also a proud Special Needs Mama Bear, and I know firsthand the journey that we’re on. When Nathan was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 9 months old, my world changed forever. I stepped into a life I never imagined—one full of learning, fighting, growing, and loving in deeper ways than I knew were possible.
I have lived in and navigated two distinctly different worlds—raising Nathan in both Jamaica, where services and supports are scarce, and the United States, where services are more plentiful but the systems can be incredibly difficult to navigate—and what I’ve learned is this: we special needs mamas are powerful resources for each other. We have stories, strategies,
and strength to share. But more than anything, we need each other.
This brand, this space, and everything I create is rooted in love, not profit. It’s
about building a village, offering tools, and saying to every caregiver: You
are seen. You are powerful. You are not alone.
